The SAFe® Scrum Master course is a two-day certification training designed for Scrum Masters, Agile Team Facilitators, and Servant Leaders who are supporting Agile teams in a SAFe® enterprise. This course goes beyond basic Scrum to explore the Scrum Master’s role within the context of the entire Agile Release Train (ART), and how to lead successful team-level execution while driving program-level alignment.

Upon completion, participants will be eligible to take the SAFe® Scrum Master (SSM) certification exam.

Unlike traditional Scrum Master training that focuses solely on team-level facilitation, SAFe® Scrum Masterempowers participants to support scaled Agile delivery across the enterprise. Attendees will learn how to lead Agile teams, facilitate Scrum and SAFe events, remove obstacles, coach team performance, and actively contribute to Program Increment (PI) Planning and execution.

Participants will learn how to:

• Apply Scrum and Kanban in SAFe® contexts
• Facilitate Agile events including Iteration Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives
• Support PI Planning and execution across the Agile Release Train
• Foster relentless improvement and flow of value
• Build high-performing Agile teams with Lean-Agile leadership
• Identify and remove team and program impediments

After completing the course, participants can take the Certified SAFe® Scrum Master (SSM) exam through Scaled Agile, Inc. The certification demonstrates your ability to lead Agile teams at scale and support successful PI execution within the SAFe framework.
